Terminating and Replacing a Single Node

If a node is not behaving properly, you can terminate it. A new node is automatically created, if required by your auto-scaling policy.

1. On the Clusters page, either click Action > Monitor Nodes or click the number in the Nodes column.
2. From the Monitor Nodes page, select the node you want to terminate.
3. Click Replace.

   The node you have selected is terminated, and if required by the auto-scaling policy, a new node is started.
