Troubleshooting

IBM Aspera Cargo provides several error messages that you can use to troubleshoot setup and transfer issues.

Error Message Description
Error: Host requires authentication You receive this error message if you add a IBM Aspera Faspex account to Cargo and enter incorrect login credentials. Correct this error by confirming and reentering the username and password.
Error: Connection timed out You receive this message if your Faspex URL or IP address, which you have set up in your Accounts tab cannot be contacted. An incorrect URL or IP address or a network issue could cause this error. If you receive this message, Aspera recommends checking your network connection and your host URL or IP address.
