Use the Aspera Drive new account setup wizard to configure a new package transfer
account. Have the following information available before configuring an account:
- The address of the server where Faspex is installed and running.
- The username and password that you have on the Faspex server.

In the menu bar, click the Aspera Drive icon
and
select Preferences > Accounts.

Click
to add a package transfer account. The
New account wizard opens.

Fill in the New account dialog with the following
information:

A name for the account. The name is used only by Aspera
Drive. |

The URL for the server that is running Faspex. |
Username |
The username that you have on the Faspex server. |
Password |
The password that you have on the Faspex server. |

Click Set up Aspera Drive. Drive then validates the
connection.
If the connection is successful, the New
account wizard displays timeframe options for package
downloading.

Do one of the following:
Click Next.
The New account wizard displays location options for automatic
package downloading.

Do one of the following:
- Accept the default path to which packages are downloaded.
- Click Change and browse to the desired location.
- Select to not set up automatic downloading now.
Click Next.

Choose one of the following:
- Select a time interval in which to check for packages from the Check for new packages
drop-down list.
- Select to check for packages manually.

Click Next, then click Finish to
complete creating the package transfer account.
