To set up an HST Server, install the server software and the license or entitlement,
make sure that an SSH server is running on the machine, and create system user with a
writeable directory that will be used for transfers.

Install the HST Server, and license or entitlement.
For installation instructions, see Installing HST Server. For this quick start, you
may ignore everything besides the server and license or entitlement
installation.

If your host and client machines are not on the same network, configure your
firewall so that the client machine's IP address is accessible.

Make sure that an SSH server is running on the server machine.

Select an existing system user account, or create a new one, to use for
transfers.
When you create a new connection on the client, you will use the username,
password, and IP address to configure and test the connection.

In the user's home directory, create a directory to use for transfers.

Make sure that the directory it is readable, and writeable by an external users
(other).

Add one or more files to the directory, to use for transfers.
