system admin

A system administrator is a user account with access and management rights for the entire Shares application. The initial Shares system admin account is created as Shares is installed. After that, other system admin accounts can be created in the Shares application by system admins. A system admin has access to every part of the application, from system configuration to creation and administration of organizations.

Tips:

• Only a system admin can create and delegate responsibilities to organization admins and project admins.
• Only a system admin can add new nodes to Shares.
• Both user managers and system admins can create users and groups.
