Crashing after Upgrading to Mac OS X 10.11 or later

Connect Server may crash if you are running Mac OS X 10.11 after upgrading from an earlier version. This is due to an outdated version of Java (one older than Java 1.7) being used by the system.

To correct this issue, update Java using the following steps.

  1. Quit all Java applications that are running.
  2. Go to http://www.java.com and download the latest update.
  3. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
Once Java has been successfully updated, Connect Server should run as normal.
