This topic explains how to log in to IBM Aspera Faspex on Demand.
-
Enter the Faspex server URL in your web browser and log in.
When you access the URL, your browser may notify you of an untrusted
connection. If this occurs, follow the on-screen instructions to accept the
security certificate.
On the login screen, enter your admin name and password.
Note: The first time you log into Faspex On Demand, you will be asked to reset
your account password.
If you don't remember your password, select the
Forgot my password link from the login page. If you enter your password incorrectly too many times, you will be locked out of your account.

If the feature is enabled,
Faspex will send you a password reset email. Once you reset your password, you will be able to log into your account again. If you do not receive an email, contact your administrator to reactivate your account.
-
Enter your entitlement license.
The Entitlement License page opens. Enter your customer ID and entitlement
key, and click Save. Until you provide a valid
license, you will be unable to use Faspex On Demand. (If you need to review
or update the entitlement information at a later time, you can reach this
page from Server > Configuration > Entitlement.)
Note: If you are running Faspex On Demand 20Mbps or Faspex On Demand 100Mbps, you will be asked to enter a valid license. For more information on updating your license, refer to
Updating Your License.
-
Update your account information.
Once you are logged in and Faspex On Demand is enabled with a valid
entitlement, click the
Preferences link in the Faspex
menu and update your user account information.

review the Configure Account Preferences topic for additional
