Overview of Inline Validation Process

Inline validation is a process within ascp that invokes external REST endpoints during the life cycle of a transfer session. These REST calls to endpoints can occur at the following:

• SESSION_START
• SESSION_STOP
• SESSION_RUNNING, which is the moment the threshold is met (optional event).

The threshold value can be configured with validation_threshold_kb.
