Creating a Remote Node

A remote node may be an Aspera FASP node (for example. a remote file watcher, remote file operation, or FASP transfer-controlled node), an SSH node (for example, an ffmpeg transcoding or remote execution), or an IP node (for example, Vantage transcoding from a SOAP API).
  1. Click Workflows > Remote Nodes > New Remote Node.
    The Node Configuration dialog appears.
  2. Enter the requested information and click Save.
    In the Manage Remote screen, the new node appears in the list in the left pane.
  3. Test the remote node settings by following the procedure in Testing a Remote Node.
