Aspera Orchestrator 3.0.1 requires the following:
- An Aspera Orchestrator license file.
- Windows 64-bit: 2008 R2, 2012, and 2012 R2
- Microsoft
Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package 9.0 64-bit
- Firefox 40-50 or Google Chrome 50-56
For a single-server installation on a production-grade system, Orchestrator requires a
physical server or a virtual machine with the following minimum capacity:
- 8 CPUs (each with one or more cores).
- 16 GB of RAM.
- 100 GB of free disk space.
For a development/test system, 2 to 4 core CPUs and 4GB of RAM is sufficient.
Aspera recommends that Orchestrator be installed on its own server.
Aspera advises against combining IBM Aspera management systems like Orchestrator with
IBM Aspera transfer servers and web application servers (for example, Connect Server or
Faspex).
