Viewing System Connections
To open the
Net Use Manager view, click
Engine > Net User
Manager.
- To view all connections created with Net Use Manager, look at the Connections by Net
User Manager pane.
- To view only the connections created by the user that installed Orchestrator, look at
the All Connections to Administrator pane.
Creating New System Connections
- To create a new connection,
click Add a Connection.
- In the Create New Connection dialog, enter the parameters for the new connection, then click
Save.
The new
connection
appears in the
Connections by Net
Use Manager pane; the status
of the mount is displayed as one of the following:
- Disconnected
- Connected
- Waiting (in progress)
Connecting and Disconnecting a Drive
To connect a drive, click the dropdown arrow to the left of the Device Name column and
click Connect.
To disconnect a drive, click Disconnect. Once the drive is
disconnected, you have the option to edit the parameters of the connection or delete the
connection.
Editing and Deleting System Connections
Note: The edit and delete functions are only available when a shared drive
is disconnected.
To edit the parameters of a connection, click the dropdown arrow to the left of the Device
Name column and click
Edit.
To delete a connection, click the
dropdown arrow and click Delete.
