An admin is any user account given content access and management rights. This includes system admins, organization admins, and project admins.

Any Shares system admin can configure anything in your Shares application installation. The organizational admins can configure organizational and project settings and resources. The project admins can only alter their own projects.

All admins have access to a settings menu that allows them to manage their area(s) of administration. This may include:
  • Adding and removing users and groups
  • Authorizing and revoking access for users and groups
  • Adding nodes and shares
  • Configuring settings
  • Configuring content permissions to resources
