Managing a Team

Note: You must be a system admin or an organization admin to perform these operations.
A team is a collection of Shares users and groups that can be authorized as a unit to a project or share. Teams are created on a per organization basis.

To manage a team, open an organization's hamburger menu and click Teams. You are directed to the team's Details page.

Details Page

From the details page, you can edit the team or delete it from the organization. Clicking Grant administrator privileges grants makes all users adminstrators of the organization. You can also view the team's authorizations to projects and shares in the organization.

The Project Authorizations table shows the following information:
  • Project name
  • Whether users in this team are available to the project
  • Whether users in this team are admins of the project
  • Default permissions to shares in the project

Click on a project to see this team's authorizations for that project.

The Share Authorizations table displays all the explicit share permissions for each authorization. For more information on content permissions, see Shares Terms and Concepts.

Click on a share to see this team's authorizations for that share.

Administrator Privileges

Granting a team administrator privileges makes every user in the team an administrator of the organization. When granting administrator privileges to users in a team you can give also give these users permissions to access users and nodes outside of the scope of the organization.
Note: If you are an organization admin and you have "see all" privileges enabled for nodes or users, you can specify "see all" privileges for users you are authorizing as admins as long as you have privileges for that type.
