Upgrading a Cluster Environment

Aspera Orchestrator is now available via an .exe file; therefore, the upgrade procedure involves uninstalling the existing version of the product and then installing the latest release.

Stop all the services on all the nodes.
Disable Windows clustering so that services are not started.
To ensure easy rollback, follow the backup procedure in Upgrading: Requirements.
Upgrade one of the nodes in the cluster.
1. Follow the procedure in Upgrading a Single Node to the Current Release of Orchestrator.
2. Start the services manually to see if the upgrade was successful.
3. Stop all services on the node.
On the other nodes, perform Step 4.
Stop all the services on all the nodes.
Enable Windows clustering so that the services are started.
